- Please keep this e-warranty and invoice (hard copy or soft copy) as they must be presented to AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. to receive future warranty service.
- If the dealer has incomplete or incorrect information, do not accept this e-warranty.
- The warranty is void if the replacement action is performed and/or the warranted part is removed by anyone other than AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd.
- Damage that does not occur because of manufacturing defects and occurs while the product is in the customer’s possession is not covered.
- This warranty does not cover the cost of repairing or replacing any part that is damaged because of the warranted window films failing or other consequential damage. (For instance, rear windscreen heated element demister line.)
- This warranty does not cover, among other things, lost time, inconvenience, loss of vehicle use, or other incidental or consequential damages.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. expressly disclaims all liability for incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from any defect in any product.
- If the product has been abused or improperly cared for, this warranty is void; misuse damages are NOT covered under warranty.
- JPJ compliance for automotive window tints requires a minimum Visible Light Transmission (VLT) percentage of 70% for the front windscreen, 50% for the front side window, and 0% for the rear windows and rear windscreen.
- There is NO WARRANTY for any Puspakom Sdn. Bhd. inspection.
AUTOVIA Window Tinting Coverage
- This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and the motor vehicle listed on the AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. e-warranty record. TRANSFERABLE is allowed in the presence of the owner.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. warrants Imperial 6mil and Supreme 6mil automotive windows to be free of manufacturer defects for a 10-year warranty. Discoloration, fading, bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination are all covered flaws.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. warrants Royal 6mil and Noble 5mil automotive windows to be free of manufacturer defects for 7-year warranty. Discoloration, fading, bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination are all covered flaws.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. warrants Executive 5mil, and Classic 4mil automotive windows to be free of manufacturer defects for 5-year warranty. Discoloration, fading, bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination are all covered flaws.
This Limited Warranty Excludes Defects Caused By:
- Failure to follow the Company’s guidelines or instructions. Exposure to physical abuse, including but not limited to chemical abuse (e.g., harsh cleaners and solvents), thermal abuse or shock (e.g., excessive heat or cold), or misuse are examples of such failures.
- Improper product storage, installation, handling, and/or use.
- Damage that is not caused by manufacturing defects and occurs while the product is in the customer’s possession.
- Unreasonable or unintentional use of the product.
- Products with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of installation, such as scratches, scuffs, scrapes, or chips to the tinted surface.
- Scratches and stains.
- Damage to the tinted surface caused by improper washing techniques, automatic car washes, or incorrect wash tools that may cause abrasion, or by third parties who are not authorised by the Company.
- Scuffs, scrapes, and chips to the tinted surface.
- Collision, accidental damage, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, or glass manufacturer’s defects are all causes of damage.
- Non-automotive applications include.
What Can You Expect After The Window Tint Is Installed?
Appearance:
- Remember that your window tint may appear hazy or have moisture bubbles for up to ten days after installation. These conditions will vanish once the moisture used to apply your tint has completely dried.
Curing Time:
- Solar security window film varies in thickness and type (from 3 to 60 days under normal conditions). The amount of sunlight and the amount of humidity in the air can affect the curing time.
This Limited Warranty Excludes Defects Caused By:
- Failure to follow the Company’s guidelines or instructions. Exposure to physical abuse, including but not limited to chemical abuse (e.g., harsh cleaners and solvents), thermal abuse or shock (e.g., excessive heat or cold), or misuse are examples of such failures.

- Damage that is not caused by manufacturing defects and occurs while the product is in the customer’s possession.
- Unreasonable or unintentional use of the product.

- Scratches and stains.
- Damage to the wrapped surface caused by improper wash techniques, automatic car washes, or incorrect wash tools that may cause abrasion, or by third parties who are not authorised by the Company.
- Scuffs, scrapes, and chips to the painted surface.
- Water spots are caused by mineral deposits that, if allowed to dry on the paint protection film, can leave a stain; water spots are not covered.
- Damage caused by collision, accidental damage, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, or paint manufacturer’s defects and areas that have not been rewrapped following a paint or body repair.
- Use in non-automotive applications.
- Non-AUTOVIA approved chemicals should not be used before, during, or after installation on the Company’s products. AUTOVIA, GYEON, and UPPF are the approved chemical products of the company. If your chemical isn’t listed, it’s not safe to use before, during, or after installation on the Company’s products.
Schedule For Vehicle Maintenance
To maintain the AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. UPPF warranty, you must visit the AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. installer who INSTALLS your original paint protection film every 6 months (3 months for WHITE colour painted car) during the warranty period.
AUTOVIA UPPF Aftercare Instructions
- Please do not wash your car for the first (7) days after installation. The moisture between the film and the paint surface is still evaporating; the edges are also drying so that the adhesive can properly adhere to the paint. Shampoo will prevent the edges from properly setting.
- You can wash the car normally after the film has dried. If you’re using a pressure washer, make sure to keep the spray at least 3 feet away from the film’s surface, especially the edges, as it can cause the film to lift.
- PH neutral car products are the best to use on the film.
- If you find bird droppings or tree sap, remove it immediately for best results. Hence, pour water in the affected area; allow it to soften for a few seconds before gently wiping away with a microfiber cloth only.
- Stains can be removed with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Take care to keep these chemicals away from the vehicle’s paint.
- It is recommended to seal with SEALANT once a month to maintain the film’s high gloss and longevity.
- Light scratches in the film will self-heal in 20-30 minutes at room temperature. Pour warm water (50°C) over the affected area in colder conditions or to speed up the process.
- Detailing Clay can be used to remove contaminants from the film.
- Heavy abrasive polish, as well as products containing petroleum or solvent, should not be used on the film because they will damage the self-healing layer.
AUTOVIA UPPF Warranty Coverage
- This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and the motor vehicle listed on the AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd e-warranty record. It cannot be transferred.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd warrants the UPPF paint protection film to be free of manufacturer defects for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Yellowing, cracking, blistering, and delamination are all covered defects.
- Small particle dust is normal beneath the paint protection film and is not visible to the naked eye within a 1 metre radius.
- AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. UPPF makes use of the pre-cut method. The panel edges and corners will have slight seams in a uniform and neat pattern, depending on the difference in vehicle structure and the original cutting data from UPPF Design Cut Program (DCP) software.
This Limited Warranty Excludes Defects Caused By:
- Failure to follow the Company’s guidelines or instructions. Exposure to physical abuse, including but not limited to chemical abuse (e.g., harsh cleaners and solvents), thermal abuse or shock (e.g., excessive heat or cold), or misuse are examples of such failures.
- Improper product storage, installation, handling, and/or use.
- Damage that does not result from manufacturing flaws and occurs while the Product is in the customer’s possession.
- Unreasonable or unintentional use of the product.
- Products installed with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of installation, such as scratches, scuffs, scrapes, and paint chips.
- Minor flaws such as stains and scratches.
- Damage to the coated surface caused by improper wash techniques, automatic car washes, or incorrect wash tools, which may cause abrasion, or by third parties who are not authorised by the Company.
- Scuffs, scrapes, and chips to the painted surface.
- Water spots are caused by mineral deposits that, if allowed to dry on the paint and/or PPF, may leave a stain; water spots are not covered.
- Accidental damage, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, stones, collision, surface rust, rail dust, physical damage, paint overspray, or vehicle manufacturer’s defects; and areas that have not been re-coated after a paint or body repair.
- Non-automotive applications include.
AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd. GYEON Quartz-Based Coating Aftercare Instruction
Aftercare
- When washing your vehicle, use GYEON aftercare products to significantly extend the life of your GYEON coatings. Our products are designed to complement our coatings and keep your vehicle looking newer for longer. Avoid polishing and any treatment that uses acid or harsh chemicals.
Washing
- DO NOT wash your car in the first (7) days after installation.
- To avoid excessive contamination build-up, wash with GYEON maintenance product on a bi-weekly basis for best results.
- To reduce streaking and water spotting, avoid washing in direct sunlight. Only use mild soaps that have been recommended. Avoid high-volume brush-style car washes and cleaners with a high PH.
Drying
- Always use a clean, soft microfiber towel or an air blower to completely dry the vehicle.
- Never let water evaporate by itself. Minerals in tap water can leave deposits on your coating, resulting in unsightly water spots.
- Use microfiber towels designed to absorb water for the best results. Always avoid wiping aggressively.
Detailing
- Follow the washing and drying instructions above for the best results.
- Never use harsh chemicals to polish the coating or remove surface contamination.
Schedule For Vehicle Maintenance
To maintain the warranty on your GYEON coatings, you must visit the AUTOVIA Sdn. Bhd installer who installed your car coating. Recommended every 6 months and no more than 12 months during the warranty period.
